Workstream Completes Sales and Services Leadership Teams with Top Talent

Company Attracts Seasoned Executives with Experiences from Oracle, PeopleSoft, Siebel, IBM, and Kronos

Burlingame, CA.. – May 7, 2007 - Workstream Inc. (NASDAQ: WSTM), a leading provider of On-Demand Compensation, Performance and Talent Management solutions, today announced it has hired a Senior Vice President of Sales, a Regional Vice President of Sales, and a Vice President of Services.

“In a very short time, we have completed our Sales and Services leadership team with world-class and industry-recognized executives” said Deepak Gupta, President and CEO of Workstream. “These seasoned executives are joining Workstream because they strongly believe in the vision of Workstream as a leading provider of On-Demand Talent Management Solutions and are looking forward to making an immediate impact on our overall business growth.” Joining Workstream as Senior Vice President of the Sales is Ms. Marti Pozzi. Marti most recently served as Group Vice President of Sales at Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ: ORCL) where she was responsible for over $100M line of business; this business, under her leadership, experienced significant year-over-year growth rates. Prior to Oracle, Ms. Pozzi held various executive sales management positions from 1996-2006 at Siebel Systems, which was acquired by Oracle. “I am very impressed with the caliber of talent Workstream has attracted from other world class organizations,” said Ms. Pozzi. “I believe that Workstream is at the verge of explosive growth similar to that of other software industry leaders I have worked with in the past. I plan to position and grow Workstream as a leader in the Software as a Service (SaaS) Talent Management solutions market.”

The Company also announced that on May 14, 2007 Scott Pruitt will join as Workstream’s Central Region Vice President of Sales. Mr. Pruitt joins Workstream from IBM (NYSE: IBM), where he was the Section Leader for the Applications On Demand business in the Company’s Distribution vertical; a $30M business. Prior to IBM, Mr. Pruitt worked for Mr. Gupta as a Client Solutions Executive at PeopleSoft where he was consistently a top sales performer in the Midwest region. “With my deep domain experience in the HR field, I did extensive due-diligence of the Talent Management solutions market and Workstream’s position in this space” said Mr. Pruitt. “I am convinced that Workstream has built a very strong foundation to become a leader in this emerging marketplace; great strategy, world class products, highly experienced and passionate management team, outstanding talent base, and a huge installed customer base. I am very excited to build out the team in the Midwest to drive Workstream’s revenue growth to the next stage and beyond.”

Workstream also announced that Ms. Margaret Goetze has joined Workstream as the Vice President of Professional Services. Ms. Goetze was most recently at Kronos, Inc. (NASDAQ: KRON) as the West Area Service Director where she managed a large team of services professionals. Prior to that, Ms. Goetze was with IBM for 20 years in a variety of executive professional services sales and delivery positions which included rapidly building a $70M services business. “Deepak is very committed to customer success and is building out an exceptional executive team,” said Ms. Goetze. “I can’t wait to leverage my experience in the Talent Management Solutions market - spanning professional services, account management, and training - to build on a strong foundation to support Workstream’s potential explosive business growth.”
